Getting started

This section details how to:

• Start NICE Investigate Community (including logging in).
• Reset your password should you have forgotten it.
  • To start NICE Investigate Community:

1. Open your Internet browser.
2. In the address text box, enter the web address for NICE Investigate Community or select it from your list of favorites.

   To avoid re-entering the NICE Investigate Community URL every time you run the application, it is recommended that you add the website address to your Internet favorites the first time you run the application.

3. Enter your Username and Password using the text boxes provided.
4. Click the Login button. NICE Investigate Community now starts.

   By checking the Remember My Login box, your username is remembered each time you log in.

Forgotten password

• If you have forgotten your password or to change your password, do the following:

1. Click the Forgot your password? link and the Reset your Community Portal password page is presented.
2. Enter your Email address in the text box provided.

   You must ensure you enter the correct email address registered to your account as if not you CANNOT reset your password.

3. Check the I'm not a robot box within the reCAPTCHA window. You may be asked additional on screen prompts. If so, follow these prompts and click the VERIFY button.
4. Click the Reset password button.
5. After a short while, a message is presented informing you that an email has been sent to you with further instructions on how to reset your password.
6. Once received, open the email and click the link entitled visit this link.
7. NICE Investigate Community opens at the Reset your Community Portal password page.
8. Enter your new password and confirm it in the text boxes provided ensuring you meet the password requirements. Click the Information button to display a tooltip which provides you with the password rules.
9. Click the Change Password button and a Password Changed message is presented.
10. Click the Return to the login screen link to login using your new password.

    You will also receive an email confirming the password change.
